BeNguni — United as One
We are BaYomncayi, the children of Zwide.
From the great Ndwandwe nation at Egudu, through the fires of the Mfecane, to the hills of Eswatini — our blood remembers. This is the home of the descendants of Yomncayi, son of Prince Madzanga 1.
Nxumayo! Ndwandwe! Wena wase Gudu. Wena wase Gudu Nkomo
From Zwide kaLanga to Eswatini.
Chief Ndlaludlaza Ndwandwe.
Six Tindlu of Yomncayi.
Those who walked before us.
Sive sakaNgwane
"When the elephants of Zwide moved north, they did not lose their tusks — they planted them in the soil of Eswatini."
BaYomncayi today live in every corner of Eswatini and beyond. Some carry the Nxumalo and Ndwandwe names. Others are children of our mothers and sisters who married into other clans. All belong. All are blood.

The Six Houses of Yomncayi
Every BaYomncayi descendant belongs to one of these six Tindlu, each representing a son of Yomncayi.
House of the elders.
House of the counselors.
House of the messengers.
House of the herders.
House of the gathering place.
House of the faithful.
The Royal house — the ruling indlunkhulu line, descendants of Ndlaluhlaza 1, led today by the present King of the Ndwandwe.
Led by Chief Nkamane. Guardians of the sacred sea water rituals — known as Bantfu Bemanti, they fetch the Sigubu (sea water) from Mozambique to mark the start of the Incwala annual ceremony. Their rituals evoke the spiritual powers brought by LaZidze (LaZwide), Queen Mother and mother of the warrior King Mswati II.
Led by Chief Zwide III. A house of the broader Zwide Kalanga lineage.
